2024 is a pivotal year for Birmingham and the West Midlands as we go to the polls to elect our Police & Crime Commissioner.   Our region’s Police & Crime Commissioner is expected to lead and shape the future of crime in our communities. The choice we make in May is a vital one.

Join the Lunar Society for the ‘must not miss’ open Hustings event of the campaign: Tuesday 23rd April 2024,1730-2030, both in person and via Live Stream.

Spaces are limited to 34 for in person attendance so please book fast to avoid disappointment.

Attendees will have the opportunity to submit a question prior to the event (please email info@lunarsociety.org.uk) and also in person and online at the event, for the Q&A session which will be chaired by our Honorary Secretary, questions will be moderated to cover an array of issues and to ensure the session is focused and impactful.

The discussion will have opening statements, three/four set questions for the candidates, questions from the floor, and closing statements from each candidate.

The evening’s agenda also includes networking and refreshments, allowing attendees to connect with like-minded individuals. The event filming and live stream is being supported by Civico and AcePAHire, and Bruntwood SciTech are sponsoring the venue in their building, iCentrum.
